5 Cocktail Recipes to try this Winter

As we get into the colder seasons, nothing is better than a hot whiskey by the fire. Check out the 5 recipes below for some new cocktails to drink when you are fresh off the ski hill or cuddled up on the couch at home watching a movie.



Spiked Apple Cider

  • 1.5 oz Bourbon

  • 1 apple cider packet

  • a splash of orange juice

  • a dash of cinnamon


top with hot water & garnish with a cinnamon stick and orange slice





Adult Hot Cocoa

  • 3 scoops hot cocoa mix

  • 1 oz creme de cocoa

  • 1.5 oz creme de la creme (Stonehouse Distillery Winston, MT)

Combine the ingredients into a mug and mix with hot water. Garnish with whipped cream and sprinkles.



Boozey hot chocolates are fun to have at a movie night or Christmas party. Turn it into a hot chocolate bar and provide different liquors (Jameson, Bailey's, Kahlua.. to name a few) and different toppings (candy canes, chocolate shavings, marshmallows, etc.) for your guests to make their own version.





Classic Eggnog

  • 1 oz Amaretto

  • 1 oz vodka

  • 2 oz store-bought eggnog

  • dash of nutmeg

  • dash of cinnamon

  • Caramel sauce to rim the glass



Shake ingredients together and pour them into a caramel rimmed glass. Garnish with cinnamon.






Peppermint Martini

  • 1 oz clear creme de menthe

  • 1.5 oz vanilla vodka

  • .75 oz white chocolate liqueur

  • crushed up candy canes to rim glass


Rim a martini glass with crushed up candy canes by dipping the glass in simple syrup then into crushed candy canes. Shake ingredients in mixer and pour into glass.




Pumpkin Spice

White Russian

  • 1.5 oz Pumpkin Spice flavoring

  • 1.5 oz Spiced Rum

  • .75 oz Vodka

  • dash of pumpkin spice seasoning

Fill the glass with ice, pour contents into glass and top with cream
